Welcoming Reception – Join us for a fully catered Reception Buffet on Friday, from 6–10 pm. There is no separate charge for this event - the cost has already been included in your meeting registration. Have a chance to renew old acquaintances, and see photographs from previous CGS fieldtrips.
Annual Business Meeting and Field Trip Introduction: A brief business meeting will be held Friday night during the Welcome Reception and will include reports by the Secretary-Treasurer, ratification of reports by the membership, report of the Nominating Committee, and election of officers. The business meeting will be immediately followed by a short Powerpoint presentation outlining the local geology and field stops that will be visited during the next two days. All field trip attendees are encouraged and should attend this event.
